Born in Toronto, Ont., I currently reside in Owen Sound, Ont. I have been interested in photography since I was a child, but I earned a living as a software programmer for most of my life. I began to explore the intersection of computer technology and the arts soon after digital cameras and computers became affordable to the general public.
New Generative Works
I’ve added some new generative pieces to my series of generative graphics. Hope you like them.
Upcoming Show
If you’re in the vicinity of Owen Sound, Ontario, some of my computer-generated prints will be on display at the Owen Sound Artists’ Co-op during the month of January, 2018. Drop by for a visit!
Generative Art
If you’re interested in exploring the world of generative art, a good place to start (especially if you don’t have any computer programming experience) is the computer language “Processing”. It was designed specifically for visual artists, it’s free and it’s relatively easy to learn. You can learn more about it (including some great tutorials) at www.processing.org
